Bir Lachit Borphukan was a great freedom fighter of India. He was born on 24th November 1622 at chandwai. He was Commander of Ahom Kingdom. He was a great and non- remember freedom fighter. He was very brave, intelligent and country lover Commander. Mughals Kingdom was very big ruler our India but Mughals couldnt achieve Assam. Assam is beautiful state for their Fields, crops, soil and animals. Mughals were evil eyes to Assam. They attacked many times but Mughals were unsuccessful. Mughals attacked 1615 to 1682 but Ahom Kingdom was small but their desire was big. Lachit Borphukan defeat to mughals 17 times. Ahom Kingdom to rule india six hundred years. The Kingdom was very good for India. Lachit Borphukan was very stubborn of our India freedom. He never quit any situation. He did do very hardwork, fought and defeated Mughals Kingdom.
Unfortunately he died on 25 april 1672.He learned soldier education, human education, scriptures education. He was legend personality.
